Our design proposal is to apply an anthropology design and user-centered design in Paris Metro in order to empower people and create emotional experience while educating in energy awareness and in cutting energy costs. It uses piezoelectricity to transform Châtelet-les-Halles public transport station into a Sustainable system. It will become a tangible, unique experience that will encourage people to adopt a Sustainable energy behaviour. The public will no longer be passive users – they will now be an active and integral part of Châtelet’s core by producing its energy.

A step in the right direction utilise la technologie piezoélectrique pour transformer la station multimodale de Châtelet-les Halles en un écosystème durable. Par son approche anthropologique et centrée sur l’utilisateur cette proposition a pour but de redonner aux citoyens le pouvoir d’agir sur leur environnement et de créer une expérience perceptive tout en éduquant sur la conscience énergétique et en réduisant les coûts énergétiques.
